New Jersey STEM Loan Redemption Eligible Occupations
Candidates must be employed in an eligible occupation upon application to the program. The designated high-growth eligible STEM occupations for applications submitted between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2026 are:
  • Computer and information research scientists;
  • Computer and information systems managers;
  • Conservation scientists;
  • Data scientists;
  • Epidemiologists;
  • Industrial engineers;
  • Information security analysts;
  • Mechanical engineers
  • Occupational health and safety specialists;
  • Occupational health and safety technicians;
  • Operations research analysts;
  • Psychologists;
  • Software developers;
  • Software quality assurance analysts and testers;
  • Statisticians;
  • Web and digital interface designers;
  • Web developers
