The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) provides a means of communication between the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) and students attending Tuition Aid Grant (TAG)-eligible institutions of higher education (IHEs). SAC members engage with students on their campuses to gather broad student input on State student financial aid policies and share that feedback at SAC meetings. Members also collaborate with the HESAA Outreach & Communications Unit to host and attend events in their communities, such as financial aid sessions for high school seniors at their alma mater.
